Jacob-Bellecombette est une commune française située dans le département de la Savoie, en région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
Historiquement la commune correspond à la réunion de deux anciens hameaux à la fin du Moyen-Âge et fait actuellement partie de l'agglomération chambérienne et de Grand Chambéry. Son territoire de dimension modeste est partagé entre la cluse de Chambéry et les premiers contreforts nord du massif de la Chartreuse. La commune accueille l'un des sites de l'université Savoie-Mont-Blanc.
