Boulay-Moselle, localement appelée Boulay, est une commune française située dans le département de la Moselle en région Grand Est.
Historiquement et culturellement située en Lorraine, dans le pays de Nied, la commune est un bureau centralisateur cantonal, ainsi qu’une ancienne sous-préfecture départementale de 1919 à 2014, désormais située à Forbach, formant la sous-préfecture Forbach/Boulay-Moselle.
