Luc-la-Primaube est une commune française de l'Aveyron, en région Occitanie. Elle est située à une dizaine de kilomètres au sud-ouest de Rodez, préfecture de l'Aveyron.Ses habitants sont appelés les Lucois ou les Primaubois. En effet, la commune administrative regroupe deux bourgs : Luc et La Primaube, séparés de 3 km ; d'où l'appellation de la commune :Luc-la-Primaube.
