Courçon est une commune du Sud-Ouest de la France, située dans le département de la Charente-Maritime .
Le Son prend sa source au fond de l'impasse de la Fontaine, au nord du bourg. Il est constitué en partie par les eaux de pluie du village quand la météo est pluvieuse.
