Illiers-Combray est une commune française située dans le département d'Eure-et-Loir en région Centre-Val de Loire.Illiers-Combray est une petite commune, composée d'un bourg central et de nombreux hameaux à l'aspect encore très rural et n'ayant pas subi de fortes fluctuations dans sa démographie. Son territoire est située entre la plaine de la Beauce et les collines du Perche, d'où le nom choisi pour qualifier la communauté de communes dont elle est le siège, nommée « communauté de communes Entre Beauce et Perche »
