Brie-Comte-Robert , nommée localement Brie, est une commune francilienne située à l'ouest du département de Seine-et-Marne. Capitale historique de la Brie française, la commune est située sur la bordure du plateau de la Brie.En 2010, elle est la dix-neuvième commune de Seine-et-Marne la plus peuplée. La ville est le centre de la communauté de communes l'Orée de la Brie, qui rassemble en 2016 quatre communes et 25 816 habitants.
