Enghien-les-Bains est une commune française située dans le département du Val-d'Oise, en région Île-de-France. Elle se situe à onze kilomètres au nord de Paris.
Commune créée en 1850, unique station thermale d'Île-de-France, avec son lac et son casino, le premier de France en chiffre d'affaires et le seul à moins de cent kilomètres de la capitale, cette ville au caractère résidentiel et commercial affirmé occupe une place à part dans la banlieue nord de Paris.
