Magnanville est une commune française du département des Yvelines et de la région Île-de-France, située 60 km à l'ouest de Paris. Cette commune appartient à la communauté urbaine Grand Paris Seine et Oise. La commune de Magnanville fait partie de l'agglomération de Mantes-la-Jolie. Elle se situe à sa périphérie sud. Elle est établie sur des coteaux orientés vers le nord faisant transition entre la vallée de la Seine et le plateau du Mantois et dominant la vallée de la Vaucouleurs à l'est.
