Mouans-Sartoux est une commune française située dans le département des Alpes-Maritimes en région Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. Ses habitants sont appelés les Mouansois.
La commune de Sartoux a été réunie à la commune de Mouans, qui a pris le nom de Mouans-Sartoux à cette occasion, par décret impérial du 28 mars 1858 signé par Napoléon III.
