L'Ariège est une rivière du Sud de la France. Elle prend sa source dans les Pyrénées à 2 400 m d'altitude dans le cirque de Font-Nègre, dans le département français des Pyrénées-Orientales, et se jette dans la Garonne au sud de Toulouse, à la hauteur de Portet-sur-Garonne, dans le département de la Haute-Garonne, après un parcours de 162,9 km dont une partie marque la frontière entre l'Andorre et la France.
