L'église fut construite entre le XIIIe et le XVIIe siècle. Elle est inscrite au titre des monuments historiques depuis le 25 octobre 1954. Cette église aurait par ailleurs inspiré Paul DELMET, compositeur de la chanson ”La Petite église” qui fut célèbre en son temps. Laissez vous porter à quelques mètres de cette église… La vue sur le prieuré du Pin et la Creuse que l’on découvre du promontoire est magnifique !
