Lyons-la-Forêt est une commune française située dans le département de l'Eure, en région Normandie. Elle compte parmi « Les Plus Beaux Villages de France ».
Lyons-la-Forêt est située pratiquement au centre de la forêt domaniale de Lyons qui donna son nom au village et à cette région du Vexin normand, le pays de Lyons. C'est aujourd'hui l'extrême nord-est du département de l'Eure mais jusqu'à la Révolution le pays de Lyons s'étendait jusqu'à Beauvoir-en-Lyons au nord et Neuf-Marché-en-Lyons au nord-est, communes désormais situées dans la Seine-Maritime.
