Le lac du Brayssou (56ha) a été construit en 1988 dans un vallon au relief mouvementée. Le volume d'eau est de l'ordre de 3 millions de mètres cubes, relâchés dans le Dropt pour maintenir un débit régulier et satisfaire les besoins des agriculteurs irrigants. Si vous venez vous y promener, n'oubliez pas vos jumelles ! Il est possible d'y observer la vie de l'avifaune, colverts, sarcelles, grèbes, canards siffleurs, hérons cendrés... des plantations d'arbustes et d'essences diverses permettent aux passereaux de s'abriter et de se nourrir en hiver. Respectez ce lieu sensible, n'approchez pas les oiseaux !
Un sentier balisé permet de faire le tour du lac.
