Classé Monument Historique en 1978 et propriété communale, le dolmen de Pech Laglaire 2 est inscrit depuis 1998 sur la Liste du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO au titre des chemins de Saint-Jacques de Compostelle en France. Le dolmen se situe sur le GR65, sur le tronçon de Faycelles à Cajarc , inscrit au même titre.
C’est l’exemple type du dolmen caussenard. Son risque d’effondrement a nécessité sa consolidation en 2013.
