La médiathèque intercommunale est située en plein centre de Plaisance, un bâtiment de 160 m² à vocation culturelle, soutenue par la Bibliothèque Départementale de Prêts qui complète le fond documentaire existant.
La médiathèque vous propose, en prêt, plus de 9 000 livres (romans, policiers, documentaires, biographies, jeunesse...) - 750 CD - 350 BD - 300 DVD - 50 CDrom. Vous trouverez aussi en consultation sur place : divers magazines, 4 postes d'écoute CD et 5 postes internet gratuits.
Et bien sûr, tout au long de l'année, des animations pour tout public et scolaires: expositions thématiques, conférences, ateliers d'arts créatifs, lectures, rencontres littéraires...
