Le ruisseau de Fenouillet mesure environ 4 km de long et se jette dans la mer Méditerranée à la plage de Bonporteau.

Il traverse la vallée verdoyante et fraîche du Fenouillet et est souvent sec en été. Les randonneurs peuvent emprunter des ponts en bois ou des gués en grosses pierres pour le traverser. Après de fortes pluies, ces passages peuvent être boueux et glissants .
