Hopesay est un petit village et une paroisse civile, dans le sud du Shropshire, en Angleterre. La population de la paroisse au recensement de 2011 était de 561.
Le nom 'Hopesay' dérive de "Hope de Say", la vallée de Picot de Say, un baron normand qui détenait le manoir du voisin Sibdon Carwood et dont le centre de pouvoir était le château voisin de Clun. Bien que la plupart de l'influence normande ait été perdue, le clocher de l'église date de l'époque normande.
