Buriton est un village et une paroisse civile dans le district de l'Est Hampshire, dans le Hampshire, en Angleterre. Il est situé à 2 miles au sud de Petersfield.
À environ un mile au nord-ouest de Buriton se trouvait le vaste manoir de West Mapledurham, anciennement propriété des familles Bilson et Legge, puis des Gibbons et Bonham-Carters. Edward Gibbon, auteur du classique "La Décline et la Chute de l'Empire romain", parmi d'autres ouvrages, a vécu à Buriton Manor pendant une grande partie de la seconde moitié du XVIIIe siècle. John Goodyer, le botaniste du XVIIe siècle, a été enterré à St Mary et est commémoré par un vitrail là-bas.
