Le camp de concentration de Jasenovac était un camp d'extermination créé en 1941 par l'État indépendant de Croatie , le régime des Oustachis, pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Un monument dessiné par l'architecte serbe Bogdan Bogdanović y a été construit à la mémoire des victimes. Tous les ans des représentants du gouvernement croate et serbe se rendent sur les lieux du camp, les uns pour demander pardon, les autres pour se souvenir.
