Macerata est une ville italienne d'environ 41 200 habitants, située dans la province de même nom, dans la région des Marches, en Italie centrale.
S'élevant sur une colline à 313 mètres au-dessus du niveau de la mer, Macerata domine les vallées des fleuves Potenza, au nord, et Chienti, au sud.
