La Piazza dei Miracoli , ou place de la Cathédrale de Pise, est le centre religieux et le lieu artistique et touristique le plus important de Pise. Inscrite au patrimoine mondial de l’UNESCO depuis 1987, on peut y admirer les monuments qui forment le centre de la vie religieuse de la ville.
Le terme Piazza dei Miracoli est souvent confondu avec le Campo dei Miracoli, un champ imaginaire des aventures de Pinocchio dans lequel la marionnette va semer ses quatre pièces d’or avec le Renard et le Chat.
