La vallée de l'IJssel est une région située au centre des Pays-Bas. Le territoire s'étend grosso modo entre la chaîne de collines d'Utrecht à l'ouest, un morceau de la Basse-Rhin au sud, la Veluwe à l'est et les lacs de la Randmeren au nord. La vallée de l'IJssel se trouve pour deux tiers dans la province de Gelderland, pour un tiers dans la province d'Utrecht et un tout petit morceau de la Hollande du Nord dans la commune de Blaricum.
