Laren est une commune néerlandaise située dans le sud-est de la province de Hollande-Septentrionale. Bordée par Blaricum au nord, Eemnes à l'est, Baarn au sud — ces deux dernières communes étant en province d'Utrecht — et Hilversum à l'ouest, elle compte 11 198 habitants lors du recensement de 2019, pour une superficie de 12,37 km2. Le Singer Laren, complexe comprenant un musée d'art et une salle de concert, fait la renommée de la commune au niveau national.
