Voerendaal) est une commune dans le sud de la province néerlandaise de Limbourg. Voerendaal fait partie du partenariat de coopération administrative Parkstad Limburg. La commune compte 12 408 habitants et a une superficie de 31,42 km². Voerendaal est une commune plutôt rurale et vallonnée qui borde la zone urbaine de Heerlen. L'A76 constitue une barrière entre les deux zones. Au sud de la ville se trouve l'A79. Au sud-est de la commune se trouve la zone naturelle de Kunderberg. Dans la commune, la construction n'est réalisée qu'à petite échelle. Voerendaal dispose de deux gares sur la ligne Maastricht - Heerlen : Voerendaal et Klimmen-Ransdaal. La commune est particulièrement riche en châteaux et en maisons de maître.
