Huize de Wildbaan a été construit en 1910 pour remplacer une maison plus ancienne sur le domaine de la Wildbaan. Il a été conçu par l'architect H.A. Ezerman, à la demande du colonel de cavalerie, Adriaan Jacob Paul Metelerkamp van Bronkhorst. La Wildbaan est un domaine situé dans la commune de Brummen, formant avec les domaines voisins de Den Bosch et De Rees une sorte de ceinture autour du hameau de Leuvenheim.
