La Westerbroekstermadepolder est une zone naturelle et un ancien district d'irrigation dans le bassin fluvial de la Hunze, une petite rivière à la frontière des provinces néerlandaises du Nord, Groningen et Drenthe. La polder appartient à la fondation Het Groninger Landschap.
La Westerbroekstermadepolder s'étend sur 195 ha et se situe à environ un kilomètre au sud-ouest de Westerbroek, entre Waterhuizen et Foxhol. Elle est encadrée par la Hunze, la ligne de chemin de fer Groningen-Hoogezand et le Foxholstermeer. La polder tire son nom de la fonction qu'elle avait autrefois : les parties les plus humides, appelées maden, meeden ou mieden, ne pouvaient être utilisées que pour le pâturage.
