La forêt de Diemerbos est une forêt aménagée dans les années 1990. La forêt fait partie intégrante de la réserve naturelle "Gaasp et Diem" et est une jeune forêt. Les arbres ont été plantés au début des années quatre-vingt-dix dans une poldere ouverte avec beaucoup d'eau. Cependant, lors des travaux de terrassement pour la forêt, d'anciens troncs ont été découverts dans le sol tourbeux, car il y avait également une forêt il y a longtemps.
