Achtmaal est un village de la commune de Zundert dans la province de Brabant-Septentrional.
Une célèbre habitante d'Achtmaal était Henriette Roland Holst, une socialiste et poétesse qui a vécu sur le domaine d'Oude Buisse Heide de 1918 à 1952 et a fait don de celui-ci à l'Association des monuments naturels en 1945.

L'église Sainte-Cornelius a été construite en 1863.
Elle a été conçue par P. Soffers. L'église a été agrandie en 1923-1924.
C'est une église à trois nefs en forme de croix. L'église possède un clocher carré avec un dôme octogonal.
