Au printemps 2017, un site de nature de jeu a été ouvert à Valkenburg dans le Geulpark, spécialement pour les jeunes actifs. À seulement un jet de pierre du centre de Valkenburg et au bord du Geul, il fait bon vivre. Il y a notamment deux pompes à eau et tout l'espace nécessaire pour se promener, les enfants peuvent y construire des cabanes et jouer avec du sable et de l'eau. L’aire de jeux est accessible gratuitement, le tout dans une oasis verte le long de la Geul !
