Le matin du lundi 23 mai 1977, quatre Sud-Moluquins armés ont pris en otage 105 enfants et leurs cinq enseignants dans une école primaire à Bovensmilde, aux Pays-Bas. En même temps, neuf autres ont détourné un train dans la station voisine de De Punt. Les deux crises d'otages ont duré vingt jours avant d'être mises fin grâce à des interventions militaires.
