Lieshout est un village situé dans la commune néerlandaise de Laarbeek, dans la province du Brabant-Septentrional. Le 1er janvier 2011, le village comptait 4 340 habitants. Lieshout est connu pour la brasserie Bavaria.Des inspections archéologiques sur le territoire de Lieshout conduisent à la conclusion que la région a été habitée à partir de 1100 av. J.-C. Le village actuel a été établi dans le VIIIe siècle comme une alleu franc. À la fin du XIIe siècle, le Seigneur de Lieshout a fait don de l'alleu à l'abbaye de Floreffe. En 1698, l'abbaye a transféré la seigneurie de Lieshout sur l'abbaye de Postel. Cette abbaye a aliéné dans les sept mois que la plupart de ses propriétés dans Lieshout aux paysans.
