Sur le côté gauche du Largo da República do Brasil, nous voyons une petite place avec une fontaine, construite en 1856, avec deux becs et des ornements simples.
Derrière se trouve un réservoir communautaire public, en granit . Il a été construit pour offrir de meilleures conditions aux habitants de la région et sa construction s'est également terminée en 1856. Juste à côté de l'endroit où coule la rivière Selho , qui coule sous le jardin en direction de la Zona de Couros.
Aujourd'hui, la fonction est purement décorative.
