Sebbene i ciottoli siano ben posati e uniformi, diventano molto scivolosi con il tempo umido e rappresentano una dura sfida per molti appassionati di ciclismo a causa della sua pendenza ripida del 20%. Si scende da un'altezza di 32 metri nella valle fino a 80 metri sopra il livello del mare in cima alla collina.
La salita inizia gradualmente ma peggiora con una pendenza media del 12,5%. A metà percorso si raggiunge la pendenza massima del 20%. I professionisti qui pedalano con un rapporto di 42-19 o 42-21.
