La Foresta di Kluis è stata utilizzata per le riprese del film "La banda di Jan de Lichte", una serie televisiva fiamminga in dieci parti. La serie storica in costume è basata sulla vita del bandito fiammingo del XVIII secolo Jan de Lichte e sulla sua interpretazione nel romanzo "La banda di Jan de Lichte" di Louis Paul Boon del 1957. Le riprese si sono svolte nell'autunno del 2016 e nell'inverno e nella primavera del 2017. Sono state fatte molte riprese nella Foresta di Kluis a Kluisbergen.
