Il nuovo mulino Bossenaar è stato fondato nel 1996 sulla cima della collina di Bossenaar. Si trova quindi più o meno nello stesso luogo del vecchio mulino Bossenaar, scomparso nel 1939.
Questo mulino a vento in legno è composto da un grande casotto quadrato in quercia che poggia su un pesante albero o palo, attorno al quale il casotto può ruotare. In basso a questo mulino standard o mulino a palo è stata costruita una piccola deposito, per cui si parla di un mulino a palo chiuso. Il nome si riferisce al toponimo Bossenaar.
