Il mulino bianco fu costruito intorno al 1880 per sostituire un mulino in legno del 1738. Alcuni anni fa, quel mulino originale, che mostrava crepe e fessure, è stato demolito e ricostruito completamente alcuni decina di metri più in là. La pianura di fronte al mulino veniva utilizzata all'epoca come set nel film 'De Vlaschaard'. A ciò si aggiunge la Torre di osservazione (Verrekijker) che durante la Prima Guerra Mondiale fungeva da posto di osservazione per le truppe tedesche.
