Houyet è un comune francofono del Belgio situato nella Regione vallona nella provincia di Namur, nonché una località che ha dato il nome al comune fuso.
Dal 1977, a seguito della fusione dei comuni, il comune di Houyet è composto da 10 sezioni che rappresentano 10 comuni storici: Celles, Ciergnon, Custinne, Finnevaux, Hour, Houyet, Hulsonniaux, Mesnil-Église, Mesnil-Saint-Blaise e Wanlin. Una ventina di piccoli villaggi e frazioni fanno anche parte del comune.
