Gemmenich è una frazione del comune belga di Plombières situata al punto triplo tra Belgio, Germania e Paesi Bassi. Il paese si trova nella regione della Vallonia. Gemmenich, che conta circa 2500 abitanti, si trova a circa cinque chilometri a ovest di Aquisgrana ed è parte della provincia di Liegi.
Gemmenich si trova ai piedi del monte Vaalserberg, la cui cima ospita il punto triplo, che è anche il punto più alto dei Paesi Bassi europei.
