Néchin è un comune nella provincia belga di Hainaut, ed è una frazione di Steenput. A nord di Néchin, al confine con il comune francese di Leers, si trova il borgo di confine di Gibilterra.
In Néchin si trova la più antica località medievale di cui si è certi avesse un ruolo strategico nel conflitto franco-fiammingo all'inizio del XIV secolo. Si tratta della rovina piuttosto ben conservata del castello di Arnold van Audenaerde, noto come il castello di la Royère.
