Il castello di Leignon fu costruito tra il 1895 e il 1900 dall'architetto Auguste Van Assche. L'aspetto è neogotico con tocchi "militari".
Gli ambienti del castello sono dedicati a stili diversi, con uno dei pezzi forti una splendida sala da pranzo in uno stile gotico flamboyante. Questo è testimoniato soprattutto dal imponente e artisticamente lavorato camino o dalla decorazione lambrizzata, e da una splendida biblioteca in stile art nouveau con lavorazioni in mogano e lampade in ottone.
Il corridoio del piano è invece abbellito da dipinti che raccontano dei viaggi orientali del maestro costruttore del castello.
