La battaglia di Gembloux, nota anche come battaglia del Valico di Gembloux, fu combattuta nel maggio 1940 tra le forze motocorazzate tedesche e francesi nei pressi dell'omonima cittadina, durante la campagna di Francia. All'atto dell'invasione tedesca del Belgio la mattina del 10 maggio 1940, le armate alleate tentarono di fermare la progressione dello Heer credendo che la Germania si apprestasse a ripetere il piano Schlieffen, già messo in atto nel 1914. In realtà la manovra attirò le migliori unità francesi e il BEF lontano dalle Ardenne, permettendo la penetrazione verso la Manica di un forte gruppo blindato composto da sette divisioni corazzate.
