Questa semplice cappella è annessa all'ex fienile della casa in Kruisweg.

La cappella è dedicata alla Madonna. Nel corso dei secoli, innumerevoli apparizioni e miracoli sono stati attribuiti a Maria (come a Lourdes o a Fatima), rafforzandone la venerazione in tutto il mondo. Ciò ha portato alla costruzione di migliaia di cappelle mariane , anche nelle campagne fiamminghe.

È chiaro che questa cappella fu costruita insieme al fienile. Forse faceva parte di una processione o fu costruita per celebrare la prosperità della famiglia.
