Nel 2018 Eddy Durnez ha avviato un vigneto sperimentale lungo la Fleriskotstraat a Wilskerke.
Nella pesante argilla della piana non era un compito facile. Quando l'agricoltore, proprietario del terreno, andò in pensione Eddy colse l'opportunità e avviò il progetto ambizioso Zeewientje: un vigneto condiviso di 2 ettari dove nel frattempo più di 25 viticoltori amatoriali hanno il proprio mini-vigneto. Ognuno produce il proprio vino (o vini) mentre tutte le conoscenze, le esperienze e i materiali vengono condivisi.
