Ottikon è un comune di 463 abitanti del Canton Zurigo e appartiene al comune di Illnau-Effretikon. Il nome del luogo è spesso menzionato con l'aggiunta di Kemptthal, perché c'è un altro Ottikon vicino a Gossau nel cantone.
Ci sono diversi club a Ottikon. Mentre l'associazione femminile Ottikon unisce tutte le donne del villaggio, il coro maschile Ottikon unisce tutti gli uomini, per così dire. Altri club sono misti, tra cui i balestrieri Ottikon, il club di sci di fondo Chrattebach Ottikon e la società di tiro Ottikon. Nel 2013 è stata fondata l'associazione Hütteschüür. Lo scopo di questo è la costruzione e successivamente la gestione di una club house per le associazioni del villaggio. Insieme, i club organizzano i festival a Ottikon.
