Gechingen è un comune nel distretto di Calw in Baden-Württemberg, che fa parte del distretto governativo di Karlsruhe. Appartiene alla regione della Foresta Nera settentrionale e alla zona periferica della metropoli europea di Stoccarda.
Gechingen si trova a circa 25 km a sud-ovest di Stoccarda nel Hecken- e Schlehengäu, a pochi chilometri dalla Foresta Nera e a circa metà strada tra Calw e Böblingen/Sindelfingen. Nel comune scorre il ruscello Irm, che confluisce nell'Enz tramite Aid e Würm. Il centro abitato si trova nella valle, mentre le ampie aree residenziali si estendono anche sulle pendici.
