Bad Lippspringe è una città appartenente a un distretto nel nord-est dello stato tedesco della Renania Settentrionale-Vestfalia. Questa località termale con clima salutare si trova ai margini della Foresta di Teutoburgo nel Parco Naturale di Teutoburgo / Eggegebirge. Il centro termale dell'Ovestfalia, che conta più di 16.000 abitanti, appartiene al distretto di Paderborn e si trova a circa otto chilometri a nord-est di Paderborn. La sorgente che ha dato il nome alla città è stata menzionata per la prima volta nell'anno 780.
