Sinzheim si trova nella pianura dell'Alto Reno a circa sette chilometri da Baden-Baden. Il comune dispone di tre enclave all'interno del territorio della città di Baden-Baden.
Il comune è composto da nove frazioni: Sinzheim, Kartung, Winden, Leiberstung, Halberstung, Müllhofen, Schiftung, Ebenung e Vormberg. La frazione di Leiberstung è geograficamente identica all'ex comune omonimo, mentre le altre frazioni si trovano nel territorio dell'ex comune di Sinzheim. La denominazione ufficiale delle frazioni avviene nella forma "Sinzheim - …". Le frazioni formano anche sette distretti abitativi ai sensi della legge comunale del Baden-Württemberg, con le frazioni di Sinzheim, Vormberg ed Ebenung accorpate in un unico distretto abitativo. Nella frazione di Leiberstung è stata istituita una località ai sensi della legge comunale del Baden-Württemberg con un proprio consiglio locale e un sindaco come suo presidente.
