Il Baltussee è un lago artificiale creato dall'escavazione tra le due città di Minden e Porta Westfalica, nella Renania Settentrionale-Vestfalia. Il lago, formato attraverso l'estrazione della ghiaia, è grande 33 ettari e profondo 9 metri. Si trova sulla sponda occidentale del Weser, di fronte al paese di Neesen, all'incrocio delle strade federali B 65 e B 61. Il confine comunale attraversa il lago: la parte settentrionale del lago si trova nel comune di Minden, mentre la parte meridionale si trova nel comune di Barkhausen.
