Santa Cruz de La Palma è un comune spagnolo di 16 568 abitanti situato nella comunità autonoma delle Canarie. Sebbene faccia parte della provincia di Santa Cruz de Tenerife è anche il capoluogo dell'isola di La Palma. Sul suo territorio si trova il Santuario di Nostra Signora della Neve, patrona dell'isola di La Palma.
Degli oltre 17.000 abitanti, circa 15.000 sono residenti in città, mentre i restanti abitano i quartieri periferici. Il nucleo urbano comincia al livello del mare, ma il territorio del comune si estende fino a oltre i 1800 m di altezza.
