Maderuelo è un comune spagnolo di 155 abitanti situato nella comunità autonoma di Castiglia e León.
Il piccolo romitorio presenta un impianto a sala rettangolare, con volta a tutto sesto costituita da un'unica navata con coro. Le pareti erano coperte di affreschi, trasferiti dal 1947 al Prado di Madrid. Il tema, assai diffuso nella Spagna dell'epoca romanica, era quello del Cristo Pantocrator cinto dal tetramorfo ed occupa il colmo della volta a botte, mentre la corte celeste si sviluppa su ciascun lato in due zone parallele: gli angeli, tra cui due arcangeli con le scritte Postulacius e Peticius, riempiono il registro inferiore, mentre una serie di Apostoli è posta sopra di essi.
